Colonel Reg has been officially gone for several years. Their mascot is a bear. You still see Colonel Reb everywhere.
It’s not called cornholing it’s called corn hole.

The “game” of throwing the bean bag, or corn bag, that I saw was called corn holing by the ESPN announcers. I believe whomever came up with the idea to call it “corn hole” was pulling a fast one on some dummies.
I know the “cartoon” mascot has disappeared but the name “rebel” is still used.
