When I first moved to Texas in ‘78, with tongue in cheek I kidded some native Texans about LBJ being behind the assassination of JFK expecting to get a ration of $hit from them. The overwhelming response was “Hell yes he did it!”.
Similar thing happened to me. I discovered that Texans knew absolutely everything about Johnson’s crimes, murders, etc., chapter and verse.
