Led Zeppelin fans worldwide have been collectively churning a recent mega-rumor: that the band could reunite for a concert, possibly in 2018, and possibly at the Desert Trip festival in California to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary.
Speculation was set off by a cryptic post to lead-singer Robert Plant's website: "Any time now..."
Then the fire was really set by a brief post at Feel Numb.

My sister and I followed the No Quarter tour from the Tacoma Dome to the The Gorge in Eastern WA where they played outside on a hot night. I thought I was in HEAVEN. I still love that album. It overwhelmed my senses.
Saw Plant at the Portland Jazz Festival a few years ago. There were some pretty good acts and then here came Plant. No contest...the rest faded away and he was the best.
If there is something going on in the desert next year I’m there!
I think I won Trump the election. I stood outside polling place with shirt off.
Wonder if it would be worth the trip to Rose Music Center in Huber Heights to catch some of those nostalgic groups they always seem to get? I’m in Western PA.
Instead of smelling like pot the arena will smell of Ben-Gay.
Would that have been “bald-headed John”?
Haven’t Cher and Barbra done a dozen or so farewell world tours between them? They should do a Double Donkey Diva Bungee Jump Farewell Forever World Tour DNC Charity Reunion Ball 2017 and see how much of the take they “give back.”
When did Jimmy Page turn Japanese”
It is awesome indeed.
Then it's not The Little River Band, then.
Alice plays almost every night, 10 or 11 months of the year.
Kinda spooky.
What makes Page so great in my book, is not just his great guitar work. But he was an amazing composer and producer. He did so much of everything when they were are Hedly Grange. Recording tracks in a trailer out front. Writing songs at the house. Page was a perfectionist.
I don’t love more than about 20% of their work. But as an amateur guitarist, I can truly appreciate what they have done.
Watch the Kennedy Center honors which Heart and the Orchestra does. I love it mainly to watch Page, Plant and Jones reactions during the Stairway song. You can see Page counting the links during the Stairway solo. Plant is shedding tears, probably thinking of Bonham and his son.
It would be colossally ironic and funny if the marquee during LZ’s reunion tour read:
LED ZEPPELIN
PUPPET SHOW
...And folks get a some sort of weird, badass puppet show to entertain them while the band and the venue clears out at the end of their set.
I've always loved "Stroll On" from the cult classic Blow Up, a version of "Train Kept a Rollin"
LOL! Kinda!
Clapton said he started his heroin habit after Patty left him for George H. She must have been something

I always thought Ethel “NO Business Like Show Business” Merman would have knocked `Whole Lotta Love’ outta the park.
Remember that almost insect-like droning guitar, then, “Nyaaaah! you need coool air, back to school air, doo doo do doo bump da bump, bump, bum bum buh bump.
Yeah, Ethel could have been their Janice. heh
Um, that (Ramble On) was only on Zep 2! Plant was a HUGE Tolkien fan, and was only 19 when he wrote that song. Have a heart!
For some reason I find this version of Kashmir, very appealing

I felt the same lol..please no stairway to Heaven,, and I would pay to see PLant blow out his voice on the immigrant song and wheeze the rest of the show
