If there is one chart that you look at it today you should make it this one from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI).
Using data from the United States Department of Energy, it takes 79 solar workers to produce the same amount of electric power as one coal worker. It also takes 79 solar workers to produce the same amount of electric power as two natural gas workers.

I wonder what the environmental offset of all of those workers farting, pooping and peeing every day compares to a single coal miner pooping once a day and peeing about 5 times? Wow, what an impressive savings on our environment!

I played this(at least the bass part) in a my band ThunderStruck in the 80's and this is the first thing I thought of when I saw your comment. Brought me back to a college party at NIU about 3:00am, we were wrapping up ready to call it a night and someone requested Walking on Sunshine. I looked up and suddenly the entire floor was packed maybe 150 people just appeared out of nowhere. The second our drummer kicked out that beat it seemed as if people that had been laying down on the dance floor just stood up and started dancing with wild abandon. We got our second wind and played another two hours.
Talk about nuclear power, oh to be young again.
.
Do you believe we are told everything?
Obviously not!
What if the waste is taken and dumped in a city water supply?
Actually my reply would indicate that I did believe it. At any rate losing a sub and its crew is one type of coverup, losing many more to make it several is another issue. Didn't happen.
.
Sorry to have upset your magical world.
.
Your world appears to be the magical one where assertions can be made with no proof except for some Hogwarts' files. Magical liberal ideas don't upset me.
.
I think you bought your brain second hand from Hogwarts.
.
Sure dude. Lol, big claims and no facts, just like a lib.
.
why are you so frightened?
Well, it depends on what you mean by waste there are several different kinds of waste produced by nuclear power.
I will assume that you mean spent reactor fuel because that is what most people think of when they talk about nuclear waste.
First; of all it would be nearly impossible for terrorist to obtain spent nuclear fuel because it is not shipped off site for burial.
Second; if they did obtain spent fuel the containers that the spent fuel is stored in would be very difficult to open. If they did open it they would need very specialized remote manipulating devices to handle the spent fuel without killing themselves.
Third; if they managed to high jack a spent fuel shipment it would be very difficult to hide the trailer/cask that the fuel is shipped in. Nothing else looks like a spent fuel cask.
As I said before terrorist have easier targets available. The man power and resources necessary to pull off such an event would be too easily detected and too easy to stop.
