Donald Trump is becoming a living example of Lincoln's axiom that one cannot fool all the people all of the time, although you might fool enough for a short time to win the electoral college.
The betrayal of repeal and reform of Obamacare, the betrayal on the Continuing Resolution, the upcoming compound betrayal on healthcare with the new plan which is bound to be only a slightly improved cosmetic alteration of Obamacare, the betrayal on prosecuting Hillary Clinton, the predictable compromise of tax reform, the predictable pork in the infrastructure plan, all bespeak a pattern which includes embracing notorious Democrats such as Goldman Sachs Agents of Influence and now the infiltration of the Trump administration by George Soros who we now learn has been inserted by proxy.
At long last conservatives on these threads are abandoning the cult of personality and restoring their faith in conservative principles, even as they (including people like you who was recently threatened in a transparent attempt to censor your opinion) are being threatened that their views will be referred to administrative moderators. They are beginning to speak out and acknowledge publicly the truth that is undeniable before their eyes.
As we begin to learn more and more of the reality of Donald Trump, I recommend we think more and more of Article V.
I guess the bottom line is that conservatives have never been able to nominate good Republican candidates and then get them eleccted. They choose the far lesser sort, many of whom have been winning, but to no avail.
You ignore that the House is gearing up for their mid-term elections, and thus they allow their super-packed donors to write legislation for a price. As well as a third of the Senate... These traitors go to their pimp lobbyists and strap their campaign expenses upon the backs of ‘we the people’.
Congress is the ‘legislative’ branch, of which President Trump can sign their ‘legislation’ or veto it... It is Congress who continues to betray US, both houses.
The obscene budget deal is a far greater reward to Soros electioneering than anything Trump has done via advisement from his son-in-law.
You NeverTrumpers are a bunch of gas bags.
Donald Trump is becoming a living example of Lincoln's axiom that one cannot fool all the people all of the time, although you might fool enough for a short time to win the electoral college.
...betrayal...betrayal...betrayal...betrayal...compromise...pork...embracing notorious Democrats...infiltration...
At long last conservatives on these threads are abandoning the cult of personality and restoring their faith in conservative principles, even as they (including people like you who was recently threatened in a transparent attempt to censor your opinion) are being threatened that their views will be referred to administrative moderators.
OMG you're delusional.
The only thing "conservatives on these threads" are abandoning is any belief that you will ever be able to control your fixation on gratuitously attacking this superb President.
So keep leading the #NeverTrump choir in singing your favorite #NeverTrump hymns, and you'll find out precisely how "conservatives on these threads" feel about your #NeverTrump cult.
It appears to me that you're agitating yourself into a frenzy which will result in yet another timeout—a common punishment meted out to wayward children.
They are beginning to speak out and acknowledge publicly the truth that is undeniable before their eyes.
How very profound—you give new depth to the meaning of the word conceit.
Notwithstanding the "Trump Derangement Syndrome Caucus"—of which you are clearly a proud member—this community is strongly united in its support of President Trump, and while you hysterically—and inappropriately—carp about "betrayal", the overwhelming majority of this community rejects your pathological attacks on this great leader.
While it might have potential elsewhere on the internet, you'll discover that the TDS Caucus does not wield much influence in this community...
And there he goes again. The notorious Trump hater, still at it. Hyperbole much?
You stink up this forum more than anyone has in a long time.
As I suggested before, perhaps you should go back to hanging with Angela Merkel and her Islamist buddies, those that you love so well.
Hanging round here like some Uriah Heep to bash Trump with any imagined offense is a despicable way to live, especially for a Merkel supporting fool such as yourself.
“At long last conservatives on these threads are abandoning the cult of personality and restoring their faith in conservative principles...”
Looks like you are still attached to your “cult of personality” mantra. That is really not original in slandering Trump voters, just consult the average liberal. And you can’t get Ted Cruz out of your system.
As in World War II, the United States is in a fight for its life. You can’t find a more firm believer in conservative principles than me, but even I can recognize that it wasn’t conservative principles that saved us in World War II. When you have someone coming at you with the notion of destroying you, it does no good to look down deep and get in touch with ideology.
“the upcoming compound betrayal on healthcare”
I personally prefer Ann Coulter’s one sentence solution to healthcare, but Trump has to work with a Republican Congress that will not repeal Obamacare nor the Senate that will not change its rules to a 51 vote even if it did.
I am still mystified how you can assign Congress’s allegiance to Liberalism and hostility to Trump as a betrayal by Trump.
And I am all for asserting Article 5.
Merely warning people was once seen as blasphemy.
The Ted Cruz cult of personality forgets that he is a Goldman Sachs stooge, too.
Geez...did you plagiarize that from some cheesy video game?
Did you think you elected a magician, or a Chavez? Which? WHICH?
Planned Parenthood has been defunded, us pro-lifers like that, that isn’t a Soros value and Trump now becomes the biggest pro-life president ever.
Not to you in particular, I heard Levine earlier, I don’t see why people like Levine miss this about the new healthcare bill.
Clearly, you would have preferred Hillary.
