San Diego, CA April 5, 2017, Herring Networks, Inc., announced today that One America News Network, (OAN) and A Wealth of Entertainment (AWE) launched today on DIRECTV and will launch on the streaming service DIRECTV NOW in the coming weeks.
We are pleased to have reached an agreement with DIRECTV that will enable One America News Network and AWE to join the DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW programming lineup, said Charles Herring, president of Herring Networks, Inc.
One America News Network is a dependable and reliable source of credible news reporting offering 21 hours of live news coverage every weekday plus two one-hour political talk shows, namely The Daily Ledger and Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler. While other emerging and established cable news networks offer multiple hours of live news coverage, only OAN can claim to consistently provide 21 hours of live coverage every weekday.
AWE A Wealth of Entertainment delivers what every American dreams of awe-inspiring travel destinations, outrageous cars, culinary delights, amazing homes, plus live world championship boxing, health and fitness and more. AWEs all inviting and vicarious living programming lineup is family friendly, aspirational and has broad consumer appeal.

Absolutely correct, it's channel 347; I watch it and it is very good. I hope their newscasters think the way they broadcast, that is where that Toni Lahren came on who has had this falling out with Beck; but otherwise, it's worth watching.
Wish Comcast would carry them.....
It’s been on DirectTV all along, why is this news? Unless/until OAN is carried by the major cable providers Comcast and TWC it won’t be a factor. Most likely a casualty if another news network is in fact being organized, because any decent business plan will include cable or it won’t get off the ground.
I get 347 but not 387. Says I need to subscribe for 387.
And you are on Direct TV? That’s strange.
OANN website: http://www.oann.com/
I get a banner at the top, it’s channel 347.
I use to watch Newsmax before Direct TV dropped them, I enjoyed some of their shows as well.
not for cable subscribers unfortunately- also i heard that they are a bit amateurish still because they don’t really have hte big bucks to produce a morep rofessional show- at least that’s what soem folks are stating- they like it, but say that OAN ‘tries too hard’ and state that they need help with presentation-
Wish someone with $$ would pour dough into the network- give fox a real run for it’s money-
Good. I love OAN. They have talented anchors.

only noticed one anchor, Liz Wheeler host of “The Tipping Point” week nights at 9:00 eastern.
don’t miss it. she will make you forget about fox news, imo
she may be the #1 conservative commentator on TV today.
Liz’s show is basically a one camera shot of her face.
guest appear on a split screen single camera shot.
low budget fast moving and effective production
the thing I like about her is she will ask a probing question of the guest, and then listen to their answer without interrupting or talking over the guest.
plus, she listens to the guest and ask sharp on point follow up questions.....without a producer prompting her through an ear bud.
Part of that is that they seem to run no commercials; at least, I haven’t seen any so the trade-off seems to be that in ways, they look like the local news. I agree with that.
Also, they’ve skyped (I assume everyone knows, that’s basically interviewing someone on a camera through their computer) a few guests on there. The guests so far don’t seem to be more of the 2nd string types but sometimes, the lack of glitz has its own charm.
Being charitable, they will make great strides in improvement! Last I watched I thought they were broadcasting in standard definition. The feed looked one step above a cable access channel.
I do hope things improve and some capital flows into it as a counter balance to the Shep Smith channel.
Look for their latest documentary “White Helmets”
What they lack in production value on their newscast, they make up in weapons-grade, rock-solid journalism.
“White Helmets” may be one of the most important press-generated pieces of independent journalism by any network in 30 years.
I watch it every day. AWE is fluff, and I don’t know why they pour any resources into it.
OANN is getting better every day, but it is better now that Fox is now, and was for the last five years. That is a simple, easily supported statement to make.
I’ve asked OANN to make White Helmets available on Facebook or YouTube. They aren’t for now, and they are only airing it on the weekends.
I don’t understand that. I can tell you this. You can’t stop watching that piece. It is unbelievable, and I fear it is the tip of a very, very nasty iceberg.
When the Soviets fell, the US - to maintain their various get rich schemes - needed an enemy they could use to justify all the boondoggles. I’m pretty sure the Muslims were on deck.
White Helmets essentially suggests we’re funding the enemy on purpose, via various means, in order to justify all kinds of liberty robbing stuff.
I know for a fact, within the US government agencies, there is an ideological war - agents for the constitution, and those for the shadow government.
This pieces shows some of the lengths the mainstream media, the UN, and your tax money will go to put the average citizen in a box.
Too late. I already dumped DirecTV and have no intentions of ever going back to them. Overpriced and crappy reception.
I enjoyed News Max though it was clearly a step down production-wise than Fox; after watching New Max TV, I have never watched Fox as much but then, News Max went off of direct TV.
Another good thing about OANN, NewsMax would show documentaries over the weekend but from what I know, OANN is always on, a big plus, maybe more up to date than some of the other satellite networks. Newsmax wasn’t even full-time during the weekday so there are trade-offs.
I have Amazon——how would I access OANN? (I’m as old as dirt and not too clever about things like this.)
.
It’s one of the free apps on the Fire Stick.
Thanks.
A very good alternative to Faux News
Channel 616 on FIOS.
It says in the coming weeks
Go to Politics on channel 125. Andrew Willow is on now. I believe starting next Monday the lineup will be Breitbart News then David Webb followed by Wilkow
I wasn't advocating, I was informing only.
