Very funny, but isn’t DDT a banned chemical?
DDT was a miracle pesticide. It saved millions of lives from insect borne diseases especially in tropical areas. Its was first used in WWII to fight Malaria. DDT is not absorbed through your skin enough to have any toxic effects. Most adults can tolerate over 280mg per kg of body weight without ill effects. An equivalent dose of aspirin will kill most people. DDT was targeted by environmental groups after Rachel Carlson's book Silent Spring claimed that DDT was responsible for all sorts of problems in the environment. Basically all the studies that from that time period have been proven to be flawed.
