Sen. Chuck Schumer blames Trump for partisan roadblock: ‘He doesn’t consult us at all’
Washington Times ^ | Apr. 30, 2017 | S.A. Miller

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer said President Trump has made little progress on legislation because he pushed a “hard-right” agenda and refused to work with Democrats. “On the issue so fare — taxes and health care — he doesn’t consult us at all,” Mr. Schumer said on “Fox News Sunday.” “He puts together a plan that is very hard-right, special interest [and] wealth oriented and says the way to be bipartisan is to just support his plan. That’s not the way America works.”

“On so many of the major issues, they’ve gone at it alone,” said the New York Democrat.

Earlier Sunday, Mr. Trump tweeted that Democrats had become the “party of obstruction.”

The president said the Democrats were marching in lockstep against every proposal he made for purely political reasons, despite the potential to do something good for the American people.

Ya know, they didn’t even consult their own cauci when putting up the Obamacare bill - “We have to pass it to see what’s in it”.

Watching this phony POS I was amused with his obvious dry mouth and forced and fake smile.
Just watching him it was easy to see even he knows he’s full of crap

There is no partisan roadblock. There’s a Republican roadblock. Get rid of the filibuster. The Dems will the next time the situation is reversed. And start punishing Pubs who don’t get on the team. Tell them to vote for the Trump agenda or be moved to a broom closet. Of course since Ryan one of them it could be difficult.

I hope he increases his TV “face” time, as Upchuck Shoo-mer is naturally repellent. His lying mouth will come back to kick him in the teeth, with DJT’s rising support.

Political votes are bought and sold. “You let me insert the funding for my bridge to nowhere in the back of your tax bill and I’ll vote for it.” That’s why you have somebody who is hard over in favor of, or against, say, abortion, suddenly voting the opposite of his stated position. They make a calculation of whether the bill will pass of fail and whether the vote they got for their vote will cause their real agenda to pass. “I’ll give you my vote on X if you give me your vote on Y.” That’s the way it has been for two hundred years. This is why people with principles should never see how laws are written and bills passed. (Principles are not an issue for politicians as they have long ago sold their souls to get where they are.)

"...he doesn’t consult us at all,”

HA HA!!!

Why should Trump consult you or your loser democraps????

In the arena of ideas your movement has failed America very badly. Why in the world should you have a seat at that table, pushing loser ideas, when it's been such a huge failure??? You, the democraps, the DC establishment, and the media are such anti-American losers and just need to go away.

...He doesn’t consult us at all...

The Chuckster knows how Republicans were treated when the failed Obamacare was rammed through with zero input from the Conservatives. He constantly needs to be reminded elections have consequences as President Zero said.
But, the rules are always different for Democrats.

I am predicting now the Repubs pick up 5 to 7 Senate seats and hold the house.

That sets Trump up to marginalize Sen. McCain and Collins.
I think Linda should be primary’d.

I am tired of the GOP people holding us back. I want a list of those holding healthcare up since its holding the growth and taxcuts up.
