Good points. That is how N. Korea is generally presented...an unstoppable hoard. The truth, though, is that S. Korea’s military is lightyears better, far better equipped, and capable of dealing a death’s blow to their N. Korean opponents without US assistance.
With the US alongside it would be a bloodbath

This problem needs a REAL solution, and that starts with the Air Force/Boeing project, CHAMP (
Counter-electronics High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project) and MOP ("
Massive Ordnance Penetrator").
Kim Jong-un gets a MOAB suppository.
Then we launch every aircraft in the region that's supersonic, including South Korea's fighters and bombers, to cross into North Korea from all directions, to overfly low level at Mach One PLUS, to bust every piece of glass in North Korea.
Then we firebombs the place to ashes.
The only real transportation system North Korea has is the railroads, so they get blown to smithereens. and that's just the start of day one.

Those howitzers unless knocked out in a pre-emtive week long Moab and bunker buster barrage pose a horrible threat to Seoul.

With the US alongside it would be a bloodbath I believe it would be a bloodbath of Biblical proportions, so bad that it would cause world outrage if we fully turned loose on them. Lightly armed men on the ground are lunch meat against American air power.
