Mexicos foreign secretary is planning an all-out legal assault on any future construction of a border wall by the U.S., to include filing suits in U.S. and international courts over possible environmental, human rights and international treaty violations.
Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray told congressional leaders here that Mexico will neither pay for nor cooperate with the wall proposed by the Trump administration, under any circumstances.
He called the wall proposal a profoundly unfriendly and hostile act.
We wont contribute in any manner, directly or indirectly or financially or in any other form to the continuation of a construction of a wall or any other type of physical barrier between our two countries, Videgaray told members of the congressional foreign relations committee.

It’s amazing how many international forces are being gathered and arrayed to oppose a project that will be, according to the opposition, totally ineffective.
The more the democrats and Mexicans attack The Wall, the better it is for President Trump.
They are just demonstrating why the wall is needed.
Mexico wants to dump their people on America and the democrats want more illegals who will, sooner or later, become democrat voters.
Those who think that you are exaggerating simply don't live here.
That says it all, doesn’t it. It’s ineffective, but don’t build it because . . .
How about the 1st Infantry Division having a party on your front lawn. I would call that hostile.
There is a good amount of hysteria involved in all this opposition to the wall, in the US and Mexico. What’s seldom noted by the hysterics is that there are already many miles of walls and some effective fencing. They act like Trump’s wall would be the first stretch of wall ever constructed on our southern border.
What they really fear is the Trump is the first president in many years who is serious about border security and there will be endless hissy fits thrown on both sides of the border.
I live in Virginia, thousands of miles from Mexico and see it every day.
The title gets me. A LEGAL ASSAULT against a SOVEREIGN NATION?
Keep it up.
Did they hire Eric Holder??
Legal attacks? Sure. But I also expect there to be physical attacks on the wall as its being built and afterwards. If you think it’s a war zone now wait til they start building this wall. We will need our soldiers down there I am afraid. And the attacks may not all be coming from the Mexico side.
Good luck with that, Paco.
But it is the Russians we are supposed to think are interfering.
Unfriendly and hostile -
How about locking up a US Marine for missing a turn at the border?

Remember the derision the leftist heaped on stupid Ronald Raygun when he proposed and funded the anti-ballistic missile program? It would never work they said and a complete waste of time and money. Five years later they were complaining that this missile defense was so good it would spook the Russians (who in those days, the leftist claimed were good intentioned folks, BTW). We needed to end it because it worked so well.
Leftist are never consistent intellectually, they are not rational, and the only thing they stay steady on policy wise is their intention to ruin this great country.
Los Mexicanos have seen Democrats doing end runs around Democracy by whining to friendly judges.
I keep remembering how fast Mexico and Canada ran to Trump asking him to please renegotiate NAFTA instead of leaving.
A holes you’re lucky you don’t declare war on you for invading our country
“He called the wall proposal a profoundly unfriendly and hostile act.”
Wow! He broke the code. If Messyco caught fire tomorrow I’d contribute (5 gallons of gasoline)!
