My instincts say this guy is a BLM type and the women were white. Not hard to figure out a motive.

Not hard at all. It was the very FIRST thing I thought of. I am flabbergasted that they described the perp, but gave the standard BS PC statement, that they don't know what the motive is. Horse hockey. They know exactly what the motive is.

Of course that would be complete BS, but in CA this will be seen as perfectly legitimate reason for a 35 year old black man to brutally beat some 86 year old woman to death.
