Sounds like they should be able to target the errant cells and concentrate treatment on that area. Never a guarantee, but they are really good at this now days.
They are mapping the tumor tomorrow morning with an MRI.That data will be used to control the machine that administers the radiation.There will be minimal damage to healthy tissue but the focused radiation will fry the cancer.The chemo will enhance the effect.
