I just made a similar post on another thread about the shoe being on the other foot. The republicans were blamed for the government shutdown when Rand and Cruz filibustered over funding obamacare. As far as Trump goes, I think he figures he can get the tax cuts through, and healthcare, and he could use some of the general border security money for what little work would be done on it until September when the next budget fight comes up.
I’m already anticipating the usual nasty commentary from the lying LSM if the cost of the wall is removed.
Even many on Fox will join in with the snarky-ness.
One of Laura’s guest this morning said that it’s a WIN for Trump because he got the dims to agree to more money for border defense and more money for hiring for border control. Said it was the Art Of the Deal, ask for much more than you know you’ll get.
Our President has a plan and it deserves our PATIENCE.
