If a federal judge can block Trump from getting sanctuary cities to obey the federal laws by withholding federal funds, I feel that judge needs to be impeached for allowing said cities to violate federal law.

Are we a country of laws or anarchy which this judge seems to be advocating.

Our government is supposed to be a system of checks and balances, but when you have judges legislating from the bench and disregarding the Constitution, then there is NO check for the judicial branch.

Federal judges can be fired, can't​they?

Federal judges can only be impeached by a majority vote of the House of Representatives. They would then be tried by the Senate with conviction requiring a two thirds vote of the Senate.

While the votes may be there to impeach, conviction is impossible under current political conditions.
