Odd how douchebag liberals like Howard and Winkler, with their millions, left her fall on hard times. Where was the love for those less fortunate?

What you saw on television is a fantasy. It wasn't real.

The Fonz and Ritchie weren't really friends with Joanie. It was all make-believe.

I've never been in the entertainment business, but I've watched a lot of documentaries and interviews and such over the past few decades....

People in music, movies, and TV treat it as a job. It's their career.

So in their defense, Henry Winkler and Ron Howard can't be expected to take an interest in a co-worker from 30 years ago.

It's not a liberal or conservative thing. Happy Days has been off the air for a LONG long long time. People move on with their lives.

Would you take a keen interest in the personal life of a co-worker from 30 years ago?

Actors tend to describe working on a long-running show with people as more like a family, or at least people they went to school with for years. A co-worker for most of us is someone who works down the hall and you might not see every day. And you may not spend many years working with the same person. Working in a cast of a show is a much closer relationship and also a smaller group.

That doesn't mean every one in every cast always likes each other or gets along. But the better man realizes that when you are in a small team that works together on something and is successful for years and years, you owe some loyalty, gratitude and respect to the other people on your team.

Well said. And reports from years past say both Winkler and Baio tried to help her.I imagine they all tried. It’s hard for family and friends to help those with addictions and mental illness.

I enjoyed her character on Happy Days and Joanie Loves Chachi.

Yes sir, I absolutely would........if I knew they were in trouble. I will think much less of Opie from now on. With his tens of millions, he could have helped this woman.

But, Opie, a huge star from pre teen age, never missed a meal. I’m sure Moran did.

Now, before I get attacked, if it turns out Opie tried to help her and she rebuffed him, then I apologize to him! (I.e. Ron Howard).
