I’m a Jew and I disagree. Jews in the U.S. are overwhelmingly secular progressive/leftist who vote in a self-defeating manner. I dislike being around them.

Why would you have that preference when you only have to look around a bit to see that the vast majority of American Jews are anti-Trump and not the least bit Conservative. In the last administration all you needed to do is look behind the Blacks at the head of the trough to find the SP Jewish Cadre working like termites to undermine this country’s Constitution. Sure, there are some stalwart Conservative Jews in government, but they are few and far between. My wife’s best friend from HS is Jewish. We’ve recently took her and her husband (who isn’t a Jew but just as Liberal) off of our list of friends because she’s in the tank for the ACLU. If you look at the ACLU, it’s pretty much all Jewish lawyers.
Perhaps in many areas of endeavor, but not in the area of political philosophy and practical politics. I'm afraid the Jewish contributions in those areas have overwhelmingly run from liberalism to socialism to outright communism.
