Well, Boston Butt is just another term for pork shoulder roast. The name derives from the barrels they used to pack/store the cut in, and most certainly not from the hind-end of the pig.

It is the best for BBQ. Tender and lots of marbling.

After it is cooked (crock pot or oven), it will tear apart with a fork.

I am on a low carb diet, so fat is not a problem. In fact, my cholesterol is low.

The only problem is I don't eat bread, hence no BBQ sandwiches.:-(
