The resolution aims to send a message to the university that it should acknowledge slavery is a debt that will never be paid.
Resolution actually sends message that stupidity is a human condition no amount of education can cure.

My father remembered signs in windows No Dogs or Irish Allowed. Should I and the rest of my large Irish Catholic clan submit reparations claims? I can't wait to see the reparations bill that the Jews hand to Egypt. That's going to be a staggering amount of compound interest.
