Rush had an interesting theory today: he said that whenever liberals want to put pressure on advertisers, they generate thousands (millions?) of posts on social media from fake (robot) accounts that are all controlled by a few dozen people. The advertisers decide to bail in order to save themselves any trouble or expense, and the liberals’ target goes under.
If this is possible now, why doesn’t some smart conservative multimillionaire hire a few tech geniuses and pay them substantially to track down and identify the people behind the bot accounts?
“If this is possible now, why doesnt some smart conservative multimillionaire hire a few tech geniuses and pay them substantially to track down and identify the people behind the bot accounts?”
We would need access to the advertisers and social media account’s logs, to do proper investigation.
Even then, if the bots are even half way competent way they are no doubt using stolen system to make it look like its coming from thousands of places.
Geting access requires a legal reason, and most social media sites wont let you in without a good one. Simply trying to prove leftist manipulation is not likely to fly.
High tech tools for hacking today are basically given away and incorporate some of the most advanced and difficult to track down Technics a kid on a couch with relatively little experience can carry out attacks even the FBI can’t easily track down with all their legal access.
Your better off going to theses companies and pointing out the conspiracy while making the much more meaningful threat of conservative boycott.
Geting involved in politics is a very bad business choice for any business that wants to sell things to customers. No matter what they do they alienate half their customer base and lose money.
You simply need to point this out to them in a creditable way, that their conservative customers will be driven away by their seeming to take sides against them.
If they want to be a real legitimate business they need to stay neutral and not let leftist thugs shake them down.
To do this conservatives need an information network to empower our own people to go and make this case That we can hurt their business just as much as the hard left can.
