Yup. The very minute I heard Obama speak at that 2004 convention, I knew he had a strong chance of becoming president someday. It happened MUCH sooner than I expected though.

Yes...but in THAT speech with he sounded like Thomas Sowell. I was listening with one ear open (reading and posting on FR at the time) and thought, "Why isn't this guy Republican?"

We found out why. He was lying.
