The most competitive special Congressional election yet has arrived, and we will be providing returns live tonight right here. In addition to our district-wide totals, we will be analyzing county and precinct level returns. For the Democrats, the hope is that Jon Ossoff can pull out an outright win tonight- if he gets over 50% of the vote in this crowded field, hes in as the districts new Representative in Congress. If he falls short, then he will face off against one of four likely Republican opponents in a runoff on June 20th: Karen Handel, Bob Gray, Judson Hill, or Dan Moody. Polls close at 7pm and we anticipate at least early vote tallies to begin rolling in shortly thereafter. Refresh this page for the latest results tonight out of Georgia.
Where is that from?

Cobb is done. Ossoff at 50.3% with 55k in Fulton County left. Our guess he gets 45%; needs 49. Seems small, but very hard.
Well in this case the more who could pull votes from O the better..the idea is to have a run off rather than a winner...
Not saying the Republicans can’t win, but it’s not as easy as it used to be.
Yes, I know about the $8.3 million of mostly *outside* money this Pajama Boy has raised. But Republicans (not democRATs) are usually very reliable voters in off year elections, from what I've seen over the years. Especially in the South. Or am I wrong?
I NEVER miss a vote.
“The number of Republicans running for this seat is totally ridiculous”
Agree..I can see maybe 2 or 3 is ok....problem was R’s waited too long to go after the D..instead were shooting at each other...crazy stuff.
Cough cough
I agree, and apparently the R leading the field tonight is an anti Trumper (according to a couple of posters on this thread). She probably had the most money funneled into her campaign..it’s all about money in politics.
That's what I worry about. The under 40 (maybe even under 50) crowd doesn't seem to be very conservative / Republican anymore these days, in general. Hope I'm wrong.
Old Indian, er, Democrat trick.
I know. I just HATE that. GRR!
Fer cryin' out loud.... >:-(
Thanks for the update.
A penny for your thoughts on this race. Think there will be a runoff? I’m not that familiar with this district and counties within it.
You are not the “average” republican voter though..:)
Here comes the voter fraud tricks!!!

“The under 40 (maybe even under 50) crowd doesn’t seem to be very conservative”
They are “fake” conservatives who are making VERY good money and have totally forgot their roots...2 BMW’s in the driveway, etc. ....would rather take their kids to Paris than the Grand Canyon.
Are they logged on??
Demography is destiny. By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities. Each cohort that turns 18 will be more minority than the previous one. Minorities and immigrants vote more than two to one Dem. We have brought in over 35 million legal permanent immigrants since 1990. We are importing tens of millions of future Dem voters.
