because that’s how Satan works- He wants to destroy as many people as possible- He is a roaring Lion, seeking whom He may devour- He tries to destroy what God creates- and He will use any means possible- Stephens was fully responsible for making himself available to Satan and His influences- and this is the result- Same with Hitler- Stalin- Asad- Saddam- etc- all gave themselves over to the influences of the Evil One -
There’s too many weak people in this world without a belief in God. You’re right, evil does exist, and it manifests itself far too often.
