A passenger aboard United Airlines Flight 3411 said that one of the three officers who dragged a Kentucky doctor off the plane was laughing during the chaotic episode.
In a Letter to the Editor published in the Chicago Tribune this week, Louisville, Kentucky, resident Jason Powell wrote how he was a witness to the Sunday incident that involved David Dao, 69, being physically dragged off a full flight before takeoff at OHare Airport.
The disgusting mishandling of the situation included everyone from the rude ticket agent who demanded that this man give up his seat on the flight
to one of the officers laughing in the midst of the incident, to the violent, abusive way the passenger was dragged off the plane by the officer, Powell wrote.

All you have are smears and snark. Some Dao-haters at least try to make a reasoned case, but not you. You don’t even attempt to make a case, forget about reason.
Sad.
All that was litigated here days ago. It’s old news now and I’m certainly not going to re-litigate to satisfy you.
Now it’s just a big joke.
United is not treating it as a joke. Every day they make some new admission of guilt. They understand the magnitude of being in the cross hairs of two of the most successful and ruthless law firms in Chicago.
United screwed up beyond belief. It only remains to be seen what, if anything, remains when the smoke and dust eventually cleats.
cleats = clear
I see no reason to believe anything this Jason Powell character has to say about the incident.
The doctors that examined him diagnosed a severe concussion and kept him hospitalized for days.

Reliable source, please.
This guy has scammer written all over him.

Who knows for sure? But as I see it, he saw the opportunity for a lawsuit against the airline, and when he decided to take a shot at it he ended up losing a few teeth in the process.
Dao did stand up and hit his own head- I believe he was a slip and fall actor

Not uncommon among the criminal population.
Yes! I am waiting and hoping that this incident will spill over to bring sunlight to the TSA thuggery and abuse. Its insane that Americans have become tolerant of the treatment of TSA employees. Weve been the frog in the kettle and ignored it so long that probably its too late.

Let’s be honest and acknowledge that race and organized labor are two of the major “empowering” factors that influence the behavior of thuggery and abuse by TSA employees.
I just dont like to see someone scam someone else like dao definitely was. Anyone who thinks his acting performance was real is truly naive.

Yep, that’s the way I assess the altercation. A scamming that went bad.
Okay. You win. We’ll just wait and see what happens.

Sounds good.
Only real cops are allowed Tasers
Cop suckers gotta suck
And every pair of jackboots comes with at least one licker.
Was that supposed to be an insult or a joke? You Aussies have a very strange sense of humor; I find it difficult to tell when you are attempting to be funny.
Don’t hold back; say what you mean and mean what you say.
That’s what I said. Hearsay.
Anyone can claim “eye witness” status. Anyone can attribute any cause they wish to someone’s facial expression, gesture, or remark, but without evidence or other witnesses.. it’s hearsay.
Never allowed in court, but for the Court of Public Opinion, which, like noses, opinions can vary since everyone has one.
It doesn’t read very “eye-witness” when the company being attacked is United instead of Republic Airlines. United might be a holding company, but they were all Republic employees involved in the incident and not United.
