The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.
This is the first time the president’s overall approval rating has been back in the 50s in nearly a month. Just after his inauguration, Trump’s job approval peaked at 59% and remained in the 50s every day until early March. It’s gone as low as 42% since then.

Up or down, I ignore these polls. Trump doesn’t lead from behind.
When a doctor is about to perform surgery, he doesn’t stop when the patient tells him not to cut him. There will be blood, but the surgery will be a good thing.
This isn’t Reuters and Rasmussen has nailed 4 out of the last 5 elections (2008 was off)

My mistake about the name. I stand by the number, even though it is actually Rasmussen and not Reuters. I do not believe there is a fair Trump poll out there.
I don’t think that’s a great analogy. My mom called off her surgery 1 hour prior!
Almost all polls him in the low 30s just before he won the election. That ought to be a clue that Trump typically underperforms in polls.

What keeps coming to mind in all this stuff is Exodus 14: 10-14

i.e. people need to stop complaining just because it “gets hard”.
