Don’t be silly, it is not unwarranted “negative” thinking to question an obviously flaky article. We do not now have “1,000 fighter jets on North Korea’s doorstep.”
Noting that fact does not mean we are not perfectly capable of doing that. It merely means that there are no indications we have actually done so to date. That would be huge move of a lot more USAF and USN planes than has occurred in recent weeks and months. There would be more carrier groups moved and/or a lot more re-positioning of air force squadrons to achieve those numbers in that immediate area.
