I read somewhere we only have 16. We definitely need more. What about building something like the Russians FOAB? A fuel air bomb that is smaller but has the TNT equivalent of 44 thousand pounds.

We may have 16 MOAB’s on paper, but we may have some hidden to top secrecy. Perhaps a orbital launch platform in a polar orbit would have them. It makes sense because you don’t want a nuke falling to earth from orbit from some kind of accident.
I don’t know which is the better bunker/tunnel buster.

FOAB is supposed to be thermobaric, not fuel-air. However, the whole Russian test may have been staged: there was no actually shot of the bomb dropping out of the TU-160, nor or any bomb descent, just the plane with the bomb and then the ground explosion.
Thermobaric tech is something the Russians have been using for 40 years or so and have made portable in the TOSS-1A system deployed in Syria.
