If you read the DOI, I think you’ll find what I said is true.

I have read the Declaration of Independence and since neither slavery or property are mentioned then I don't see what supports your claim that the colonists rebelled to defend slavery. If you're referring to the "excited domestic insurrections amongst us" to mean slave rebellions, well, there is a lot to dispute in that.

There is no dispute about the meaning of the reference, unless you have invented one.
