The Puritans, whatever their genetic makeup now maligned as “white privilege”, were demonized and driven out - only to move to rank wilderness where they built the most powerful nation on Earth in just 400 years.

Oh, I have no intention of going anywhere under duress.
That was simply an observation of the power of the philosophy they are up against, and mistakenly think they can take by fiat (considering they have not the force). Theirs is like the old mystical notion that you can gain an animal’s power by eating its heart. Ours is the recognition that stuff only gets done by doing it.
