I told you so.

Not you personally Lady, but last week when Premier Xi was at Mara Lago and Trump bombed the hell out of that Syrian airport, I said then it was more for show than anything else.

It was designed to show Xi that Trump was ready, willing and able to move forcefully on the global stage against enemies of the world.

Apparently Xi was impressed and so here we are: A joint Chinese/US arrangement to take out that fat kid with a bad haircut.

I suspect Xi, the leader of China, and Prez. Trump have come to an agreement about what is in both their best interests at their recent meeting, and ‘’Crisco Kim’’ will be the loser. NK military will have to either depose or do away with Kim Jong Un, because Kim Jong Un doesn’t have the savvy to get himself out of this mess. Maybe if Kim Jong Un is no longer around North and South Korea may eventually have a better chance of reunifying.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are all those Nork guns, buried in underground bunkers, with a limited field of fire, and registered on targets in the RoK, are now pointed the wrong way?

At last count, that was 175,000 PLA troops on standby across the Yalu. Could be a little clumsy...

I’ll believe that China is going to get tough with its longstanding client when I see it. Hard to believe that China going to do us a favor by attacking a nuclear power that has not attacked it — what’s in it for them? Tariffs imposed by Trump on their exports to the USA?

Reunifying the Germanys was almost too much for West Germany to handle. North Korea is far worse off than East Germany was. As for partition ... leave the Russians out.

China invades NK and annexes the territory. What would the US and SK do?

Count it as a win. At least the ChiComs are rational.

Korea will never be unified as SK could never afford the cost.

Not for awhile, but Koreans are a very proud and nationalistic people and they will pursue reunification as a matter of pride.

Move the DMZ north to the Yalu river.

China is at least rational. They would probably agree to withdraw or allow South Korea joint administration of the North, in exchange for US troops leaving the Peninsula.

If NK becomes viable, it could become a market for the cheap stuff China makes.

When it was read this week China turned away NK boatload of coal, it was felt there were changes afoot.

The old Bob Wills song applies here “Big Balls in Cowtown”

America, DJT is MAGA

I’m a bit more worried about the Russian Mechanized Divisions on the North Korean border. Putin may be just as willing to see Kim go or he may be looking for an opportunity. Russia has a large number of North Koreans working as slave labor.
North Korea probably doesn’t have a strategy for a Chinese invasion.

The LAST thing SK wants is millions of NK refugees flooding into Seoul.

Think reunification of Germany. Yes, there will be pain in the short run, but better for the world in the long run.

At least the Osties were somewhat able to function in the reunified Germany.

These people in the North are completely brainwashed, the world they know has little resemblance to reality. These people are going to have to literally be deprogrammed like cult members are.
