Yeah but for war in the South against the South Koreans and US, not from the north and the Chicoms. I suspect there would be quite a few Chicoms draftees expended as cannon fodder but eventually they would win.

Also as posted China annexing the North would be an interesting turn of events. How would the South react to having the Chicoms across the 38th parallel?

I suspect the social and political condition of China is such that the leadership doesn’t feel that they can expend any draftees without PR and political consequences at home.
And these days the Chinese Army is all-volunteer anyway.
