Saw J Geils band back in 1977 at Rich Stadium in Buffalo. They were touting with Yes, Bob Seger, and strangely enough, Donovan.

Seger & Peter Wolf are close friends. J.Geils tried to hook-up with Seger’s manager Punch Andrews back in the day, but Punch was not taking new acts on. Geils was one of the great live bands from that era.
