Kellyanne Conway: Trump wants to work with Democrats
Washington Examiner ^ | April 11, 2017 | By KYLE FELDSCHER

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway urged Democrats to come to the bargaining table with President Trump on legislative issues and thinks they may be key to getting Trump's legislative agenda passed.

On Fox News Tuesday, Conway said bipartisan work on tax reform and infrastructure will be key to getting the administration's proposal through Congress. She said working with Trump could be key to some Senate Democrats' re-election chances.

"A number of them may want to listen to their constituents … that are saying we want some type of tax relief to allow us to spur this growth, this 3 to 4 percent growth, that allows us to retain and attract an American workforce," Conway said.

She added, "We would like the Democrats' help on tax reform, on healthcare reform, on infrastructure, and we certainly want Congress to move swiftly on all these."

I get that, but if the GOP cannot be worked with, that leaves one no choice but to work with someone else.

That is the exact reason why Trump was nominated.

People are tired as Hell of the GOP not doing anything.

We had no choice but to go in another direction, and Trump is now running into the same problem.

These morons cannot get out of their own way no matter how much room to maneuver they are given.

But if you pass the Democrat tax plan or the Democrat healthcare plan just for the sake of passing something then what have you really gained? Because make no mistake about it. There is no such thing as a bi-partisan plan for anything.

I don’t know.

I do know that Trump is a doer, and is not ideological

If the GOP ever wanted to do ANYTHING, now’s their chance.

But what they are doing instead of anything is proving that their entire party platform is a bunch of BS.

The GOP doesn’t seem to have an actual agenda as far as I can tell.

I mean it’s pretty simple. If at anytime you have someone who wants to do something, but the people he wants to do those things with don’t want to do anything, then chances are that person is going to go do things with someone else.

It’s time for the GOP to sh!t or get off the pot.

I'm beginning to believe that. Trump wants deals. It doesn't matter so much to him what's in the deal so long as a deal is made. That's worrying.

It doesn’t really worry me particularly, I expected the man behind The Art Of The Deal to be a deal maker and that is fine.

What is troubling to me is that the GOP also does not appear to be ideological. They certainly are not conservatives.

And on top of not being ideological, they also seem to be incapable of making a deal, not even among themselves.

The Demonrats, when they have power, come Hell or high water, they implement their agenda. That’s all they think about. Nothing else matters to them at all.

The GOP, when they have power, go jerk off in the corner.

It’s the most pitiful frickin’ political party I have ever seen in my life.
