All Presidents and U.S. State has been on board with this, from the Clintons to the Bushes to the Manchurian Candidate Obama.
I’m hoping President Trump just doesn’t realize what a very, very bad idea this is. I’m sure lots of people, including Tony Blair acolytes, have told him this is a good thing. It is not. No doubt the Saudis push for it; which is why State has been on board. Even GHWB was leaning on Israel.
It has been prophesied; it’s going to happen. And most of the world has no idea what it will become.
Back when Britain and the other European nations had the eatern Mediterranean/ northern Africa divvied up between them, there was a two- state solution.
Israel was to be for the Jews, and Jordan for the Palestinians.
Trouble was, Jordan didn’t want the Palestinians in Jordan... ant there’s been trouble ever since.
