I am not completely sold on the official version of this event. I hope this is an one-time high profile action to get deep state leeches off his back. If he concentrates more on stabilizing the situation rather than escalating military actions, that would be a better course of action.

Nothing like the damage you have done to your own credibility and support, for sure.

Runways aren’t important, planes are. Using missiles to destroy concrete is not cost effective. Assad just lost 20% of his Air Force. He can’t sustain another loss like that.

As the fog of war lifts and before I forget,......... one other piece of news that came out just prior to the the tomahawks flying, was,........ Dr Ben Carson had just uncovered $500 Billion was gone from HUD. I just include that for the record.

Stability is not the objective. If it was, Step One would be turning Riyadh, Mecca and Medina into various colors of glass.

George Bush: I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt.

PR-inspired retaliation at sandlots in the Mid-east seem to be a concern for every President now.

My question is why did he not hit the storage facilities that would have contained the chemicals bombs?

Follow islam and its evil and suffer its result.

Silly headline. Generals formed the plan...and Trump authorized it. Sheesh.

The Russians have been showing an undamaged aircraft as evidence the the US strike was ineffective. Oops! What they are actually showing is how amazingly effective the US Military can be: the photo shows that the US targeters chose to not use up a $1M missle on a nearly worthless Mig21. Blow up the Mig23 and Mig29 aircraft, but don’t waste missiles on the Mig21.

Sweet.

What the Russians are saying, and what they are doing, does not jive. The Russians evidently did not attempt to intercept the US cruise missiles, even though they have boasted that their system could. The Russians apparently did not notify the Syrians of the incoming US attack...

Things may not be as they seem. I’m getting the feeling the World will be a much more pleasant place in the coming years.

International whining should have been ignored -- and at least eight of those TLAMs should have dumped Rockeye clusters (with random time-delay fuzes) on the exposed A/C in open sand revetments -- and, even, sitting out on the sand:
