At least you had fun and have those great memories.
Just got back from lunch with a man who won a couple silver medals in eventing back in the day. He’s one of the lucky ones...not hobbling around - but my daughter definitely has her problems including a recent issue with fractured ribs. I asked her what happened and she said “the horse went right and I went left”.
I wish she’d take up dressage but so far she won’t.
Momma always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun.....
But momma, that’s where the fun is....
Actually had a trainer once, who used to teach dressage in addition to the other disciplines. Taught me a lot of great things that really helped out in the Hunter/Jumper arena. Even if she doesn’t take it up, it wouldn’t hurt her to look into some training sessions with a like minded trainer.
