I made my daughter change a tire before she ever got her license.
You know, tires have gotten so much better that I haven’t had to change a tire in over 20 years. My dad did the same thing, I had to change a tire before he’d let me drive and he insisted on a stick shift so I’d be less detached from the workings of the car and how it reacted on the road. But, I can’t honestly say I’d know how to use the jack in either of my cars now, I’ve never even looked at the spare. Might have to go do that, feel like I’ve tempted the flat tire fates, lol.
