Don’t nukes do the same thing? Of course, if it was outlawed the leftists and western countries would give up theirs and believe all the other countries did too.
They do, but nukes are way too strategically important for nations to want to give up entirely, although as you say I’m sure there are plenty of Dims who would be first in line to hand them over.
It’s a similar thing with landmines and clusterbombs - the amount of harm they can cause long after peace is declared is why a lot of nations banned their use.
