Under reported: the base is an actual terror target - used by Iranians to transfer weapon and advanced missiles to Hamas and Hezbollah. I believe the Israelis hit the base several times.
The strike may be something other than what the Admin and the media claims - for instance despite claims that the airfield is destroyed, the images show it is not, but do show damaged buildings around it; however, not to the degree expected of 59 Tomahawks - which may be the last in the inventory.
