My first reaction is oh crap, did he really fall for this, but we can't lose sight of the fact that Trump and his team know a lot of things we don't. I had to laugh when I heard the FOX reporter earnestly saying that Trump didn't call Putin ahead of time—does he imagine there aren't other ways of getting a message across?

As far as the chemical attacks go—ever see kids’ bodies crushed by rubble, burned or filled with shrapnel in airstrikes or bombing? How is a chemical attack worse?

Chemical attacks are worse because they are classified as weapons of mass destruction. Same class as nuclear and chemical.
