Billions of dollars leak from the federal treasury to social activists, academics, consultants, non-profits, and advocacy groups allied with the Democrat party and dedicated to driving the progressive agenda. A large share of this money gets channelled into Democrat political campaigns, legal action in support of social change, and advertising to support liberal causes.
If Trump and the GOP Congress do nothing else they need to terminate the flow of federal funds to organizations and individuals furthering leftist political agendas. Four years of starving the beast will as much to reverse the advance toward socialism as regulatory reform, tax reform, and the end of Obamacare. Plus the budget savings can be applied to reduce the deficit or pay for real infrastructure improvements.
I believe I read recently $76 billion per year is going from the taxpayer to Ivy League colleges with multibillion dollar endowments. Cut these subsidies of liberal professors today! It has to be just the tip of the iceberg.
