Undocumented husband of Indiana Trump supporter deported to Mexico

Helen Beristain voted for Donald Trump even though she is married to an undocumented immigrant.

In November, she thought Trump would deport only people with criminal records -- people he called "bad hombres" -- and that he would leave families intact.

"I don't think ICE is out there to detain anyone and break families, no," Beristain told CNN affiliate WSBT in March, shortly after her husband, Roberto Beristain was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In a statement to CNN, ICE said, "On April 4, 2017, officers with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) removed Roberto Beristain Cegueda to Mexico via Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. ERO officers turned him over to Mexican authorities at the Paso Del Norte Port of Entry in El Paso, Texas."

Maybe the wife wants him deported. Pretty much leaves her in charge of that nice business and all their US assets. No messy divorce or custody issues.

Heh! Getting down to brass tacks. This is more or less how a cop thinks - not the weepy sob story that CNN's trying to pull.

I also believe that non citizens often marry to gain entry and / or citizenship then divorce. In this case - per the article, they have been married since 2001, so I doubt the previously mentioned scenario fits this situation.

Don’t you have to have “documentation” to get a marriage license?

So, are there restrictions upon marrying foreign nationals?

Paul Harvey and The Rest Of The Story...I’d forgotten about that feature. We need someone to resurrect it; maybe Watters or Tucker Carlson.

They were married long before Trump was even a blip on the political radar screen.

>I’m sure the Progs are cheering this, but I don’t care. Don’t do the crime if ya don’t want to be deported.

You mean like B&E into the country to begin, right? /s
