U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley on Wednesday confronted Russia directly in an impassioned address to the United Nations following a reported chemical attack in Syria on Tuesday.

Haley gave a horrific and vivid account of the reported chemical attack, holding up photos of child victims for the U.N. Security Council to see.

“Men, women, the elderly, and children gasping for their very last breath,” she said. “And as first responders, doctors, and nurses rushed to help the victims, a second round of bombs rained down. They died in the same slow, horrendous manner as the civilians they were trying to save.”

She then stared down the Russian ambassador and said: “How many more children have to die before Russia cares?”

Yeah right. A blog said that. Assad has used it Sarin multiple times(Syria also routinely uses chlorine gas) and Syria is not a member of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Contrary to popular belief, the Muslim forces under Alija Izetbegović, the Bosnian Muslim leader, shelled the Markale marketplace in Sarajevo, killing 60-some people and wounding about 150. Izetbegović was appealing to the West for arms at the time, but the combined Indian, Swedish and French leadership of UNPROFOR chose to ignore the crater analysis and endorsed media reports.

This is bogus. Of course, absolutely no evidence has been provided and this makes zero sense. How does this benefit Assad when the US just said it will be a Syrian issue if he stays or goes. Trump is being dragged into war just like all other Presidents before him. His press conference way very disappointing. He hasn’t been able to develop any sort of relationship with the Russians and now he’s being pushed into a standard foreign policy. Hugely disappointed if he falls for this.

I don’t believe the stories that Assad used chemical weapons.

There is no history of evil behavior on his part.

This is not a Trump position. Trump is being pushed and tricked into going to war just like Bush and Obama before him. He has to resist this craziness. He hasn’t even spoken to Russia because the bosses won’t let him. If Trump were in control he would have spoken to Putin long ago. The fact that he hasn’t shows that elections may not have consequences after all.
