An important corollary is that when an invocation of Nazism or Hitler _does_ occur, the discussion is over (for all practical purposes).
Problem is this discussion _started_ with Trump being equated with Hitler, so it was over before it really began. At this point both sides are just lobbing verbal rocks at each other for purposes of virtue signaling to their own sides.
