Still, the Founders were cognizant of the possibility that what they created might need to be altered, so they included two means of doing so democratically and without the aid of unelected judges in Article 5 of the Constitution.

This article isn't specifically about Article V, but it is the best article I've read about the difference between Originalism and the Living Constitution. It clearly defines where we are now.
