I just checked through the article. I never heard of The Intercept or the writer before. So they think Morsi, the “first democratically elected president” was a good guy, and eeeevil Mubarak and eeeevil Al Sisi are eeeeevil dictators. Since I did not see a mention in the article of the Muslim Brotherhood, I can only assume that these people are brain damaged cretins with no moral compasses or sense of direction, or honesty.
I puke in Krugman’s and Greenwald’s general direction.
We were arming Mubarak and Morsi (and every other Egyptian leader) right along. Our policy has not changed under Trump whether the leader of Egypt is a “tyrant” or not.
