The law imposes criminal sanctions on government officials who engage in electronic surveillance under color of law except as authorized by statutes and governing regulations implementing those statutes. This same criminal law makes a person guilty of an offense if she intentionally discloses or uses information obtained under color of law by electronic surveillance, knowing or having reason to know that the information was obtained in a manner not authorized by law.
According to both FBI Director Comey and NSA Director Clapper, no warrant ever authorized the intercepts and electronic surveillance on a member of Trumps team.
Susan Rice, and the Obama administration, appeared to have often skipped the Constitutional limits on their duties while in office; now might be a good time to buff up on the Fifth Amendment, and the right to counsel. Congress may be calling soon.

Impatient? Are you freaking kidding me? How many years have we had multiple Congressional investigations that lead to NOTHING? The GOP are rats, or have you forgotten!
Congress has no prosecution powers. I guess you have been in a coma for the last eight years.
There is huge difference between the parties and one is no longer terrified of the media thanks to president Trump whom, no doubt, you opposed for a real conservative.
No I haven’t been asleep dumbsob I’m well aware they don’t have prosecutorial powers which is why I’m tired of these stupid hearings.
Two words - Scooter Libby. He didn't reveal Plame's name, but he was the scapegoat.
Why should Flynn, who various government officials said did nothing wrong, become a scapegoat for actions by Obama administration officials?
Rice is going to have to roll on her handlers.
I didn’t know Flynn was a Democrat, but I know Schiff called Trump’s cabinet “henchmen.”
So you are admitting you don’t understand the function of Congressional hearing. Figures. When there is a real Justice Department such hearings lead to prosecutions and we haven’t had one for eight years.
Perfect. He does such awesome work.
Is that per offense? If so this could add up to a hundred years or more.
That's something I don't get either. In a court of law when evidence of someone breaking the law seriously enough to warrant an arrest an officer is called in right then to do it. In this case why wouldn't the FBI have a representative there if asked by congress if they suspect a criminal will be exposed during testimony to arrest the perp right then. At the very least the agent could gather the evidence, take it to their boss, then a warrant issued for the arrest and then they are arrested then get to do the perp walk in front of cameras.
Many in this thread and for a long time now are asking the same question. If we break the law we get arrested and go through the process but when these people commit these crimes, which we consider far worse than garden variety breaking and entering which is what Rice did on steroids, nothing happens and they just get to go on with their life like nothing happened.
In my humble opinion there can be no draining of the swamp, no correcting the corruption, and no fixing the problem with DC until we start seeing arrests and convictions for these crimes. We the people have to know we are all treated equally under the eyes of the law and that simply isn't happening and hasn't been for a long time now. They will continue to break our laws unabated as long as they see no punishment for those who get caught. They have to know they will be looking at a minimum of 5 years in prison and possibly many more if the sentence is based on per count.
Here we have a fighting leader for the first time in 16 years and still you are attacking the GOP.
Well your name sure fits your comments. You're way out of line in this thread. Are you drunk?
There's nothing at all wrong with what Lil Flower said and you also jumped down the throat of someone else before that for no good reason. You need to stay off the computer when you get drunk like this. It does no one any good; especially you.
“Congress may be calling soon.”
I hope Sessions has already convened a grand jury.
You are absolutely right, Bob! Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Thanks for your screwball advice but I haven’t been drunk in a decade. Reading the drivel here that passes for intelligent commentary is, I admit, enough to drive one to drink.
What nonsense to believe that any of this can be compared to an ordinary crime, indictment and arrest. Supposition is not enough to convict.
Typical Are We There Yet? impatience.
It sounds like the only screwball around is in that big glass in front of you.
Lighten up Francis.
Tell you what, Sport, every remark I made was totally true why don’t you show me ONE that is false. I will explain it to you word for word.
“We are not going to comment at this time. Let’s let the process play itself out,” said Michael G. Flynn, the general’s son and top aide, told CNN.
Flynn might seem an unlikely choice given his lack of political experience — and the fact that he’s a registered Democrat.
“If someone were to look it up right now, I’m a registered Democrat, and I’m OK with that,” he told Foreign Policy, adding, he is “about as centrist as possible.”
***So you are admitting you dont understand the function of Congressional hearing. Figures. When there is a real Justice Department such hearings lead to prosecutions and we havent had one for eight years.***
No, you’re anything you’ve been living in a hole for the last 15-20 years if you think 1 prosecution is going to come from a tax-guzzling hearing. It doesn’t matter who is in office, committees are where criminals in government to to get off. Why don’t you say C Span every once in a while instead of making a fool out of yourself.
And by the way, I’m one of Jeff Sessions biggest admirers. You wanna tell me where the hell he is?
Damn I should have proof read that. Either way, I said hearings don’t lead to prosecutions and you’re accusing me of not understanding how hearings work then you say with a new President we’ll have prosecutions come from hearings. I think you’re the one who is confused because you are contradicting yourself.
