The purpose of my criticisms is to get him to stop these impulsive tweets and start courting the public with the image of gravitas that his approval numbers reveal he so desperately needs. I advise him to do this not to rebuke him but to make him more powerful so that those policies of his of which I approve might succeed.

This is why you have no credibility with me. Nothing Trump does is impulsive. That’s a false narrative put forth by progressives & the never-trumpers on the right. You folks project your own inadequacies on Trump purely because you can’t seem to comprehend what he is really about.
Trump is doing a great job & I applaud his use of twitter.
Just as Nate Silver always used a brief associated dip in poll numbers as a sign that “Trump has lost,” you now take that baton and done the same.
At least Mr. Silver, after proclaiming Trump's doom seven times, states he has learned his lesson.
The MSM are obsessed with stopping Trump’s tweets, which Trump claims reaches 100 million thru various social media outlets. The MSM hate the fact that Trump can speak directly to the people without going thru their filter and they are forced to cover them.
Trump should not stop tweeting and using social media. Gravitas? You are living in the past. Print media is dying. Technology is changing the way we communicate.
I understand your advice is sincerely meant but I think his tweets are the reason he was elected and the tool he will use to destroy the deep state. I worry much less about him looking stately and much more about MAGA.
