Susan Rice Ordered Spy Agencies To Produce ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’ Involving Trump

Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”

Other knowledgeable official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election. . .

“Well, at least we know why they were so confident about winning. They were cheating every which way.”

My sense is that’s one of the truest statements ever spoken.

At any other time in our history, this would cause a Constitutional crisis. This is exponentially worse than Watergate. Where is the f’ing outrage from the Reps?

Demos love to exaggerate. We need to quantify the cost of this extensive spying episode. So, 17 intelligence agencies for over 14 months, surveillance of some 30 or so separate people. Including agency resources and salaries, it has to be $1 million per month per agency per target. That’s got to work out to over 5 - 6 billion dollars.

Doran charged that potential serious crimes were undertaken because “this is a leaking of signal intelligence.”

“That’s a felony,” he told The DCNF. “And you can get 10 years for that. It is a tremendous abuse of the system. We’re not supposed to be monitoring American citizens. Bigger than the crime, is the breach of public trust.”

Are we not talking about multiple counts here? 10 yrs x (n).

And then, isn't there a conspiracy angle here? Let's consider the ringleaders, could they be Obama and Clinton?

Biggest worry for Rice? What if a dozen or so government employees flip for immunity? That could lead to a stampede!

They should check back to 2011 and 2012 before Obama’s reelection. They could have been doing the same thing to Romney.

... Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president...

And all 17 'intelligence' agencies went along with this because they 'were just following orders'? We've got a bigger problem than just the well dressed members of a Chicago Street gang...

Trump isn’t Uniparty though. They can afford to let each other off the hook, because they are really on the same team, but they will keep coming after President Trump if he lets them walk.

That’s got to work out to over 5 - 6 billion dollars.

Just about the amount missing from the State Dept. during Hillary's four years as Sec. State.

Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,”

The ambiguous language used by Joe diGenova is very frustrating. What is a "detailed spreadsheet?" What does it mean when he says she "ordered" these spreadsheets. In other words, were these things given to Susan Rice pursuant to her order because she said, "give me everything you have concerning telephone calls of Donald Trump and his associates" or did she simply say "I have read accumulated intercepts at random and have discovered some phone calls involving Donald Trump and his associates that relate to Russian hacking of the election and I want you to put them in some order for me"?

In the first instance you have Susan Rice proactively ordering up surveillance data much more likely to be used only for political reasons than for national security reasons concerning the alleged and dubious claims of Russian interference in the election. If she told these cyber spies to vacuum up phone calls concerning Trump and his associates, that is very damning but we do not know what diGenova is trying to say.

We do know that those allegedly in the know have flat-out stated that these intercepts in fact did not relate to Russia and therefore it is much more likely that she was acting proactively.

“Obama, true to form, is never near when these things happen.”

I’ve a question, if the Obama’s go to a non-extradition nation does the Secret Service still protect them?

Looks like somebody overplayed their hand a bit.

Can you imagine if a Republican engaged in something like this?

It appears that Hillary and Obama went on an illegal and unethical fishing expedition in an all-out effort to destroy Donald Trump, and they came up with jack sh!t.

And they were all counting on Hillary winning so that all of this criminality could be swept under the rug. That didn't work out too well either.

By any stretch of the imagination, President Trump has been vindicated on his tweet.

It's like Mark Levin said: this story isn't about the President's tweets. No, it's about illegal surveillance and unmasking fomented by the deep state at the behest of the Hillary campaign, and/or under the auspices of the Obama administration.

This is as dirty and excessive as it gets. Obama's legacy is going down in flames, not just due to the actions of President Trump, but by the breathtaking hubris of President Obama himself. What a disgraceful progressive "hero".

The criminals should be prosecuted and the repudiated Democrat party should be kept out of power for decades to come...

I don’t think she needs to go before Congress. This needs to be prosecuted by the DOJ, zealously and energetically.

And still, no one in the media has guts enough to connect the dots back to Obama himself. She was his top National Security adviser! She took the fall for he and HRC for Benghazi! What is the ex-President purportedly doing (besides writing his memoirs) other than leading the opposition to Trump? All the media is still cowed by him because he is black. Is that not racist?
