Fox News has been known to separate its programming into opinion and news, but some parts of its news wing have fallen prey to the beasts of fake news. One in particular is Fox News' Shepard Smith Reporting, which has been dominated by the unsubstantiated claims surrounding Russia's meddling in the US election and the non-existent Trump-Russia connections. Almost daily, Shepard Smith wades into rants and allegations about Trump's connections to Russia while ignoring the larger, real and substantiated connections between Russia and the Clintons. For this, petitions and calls to have Smith fired have been growing.
Shepard Smith is also a managing editor at Fox News, in charge of breaking news. This has started the alarm bells among the Fox News audience, causing explosions on Twitter that call for Smith's immediate resignation. A petition at Change.org is nearing 3,000 and will likely surpass that by the time this is published.

If you do fire him, expect a sexual harassment suit claiming Roger Ailes tried to kiss him. Woooooh!
Yeah, and they should take him around back and kick his ass too.
Fire him? The Murdoch brothers LOVE him and want to CLONE him for all of the time slots.
They should have fired him right after Katrina!
He makes me long for the day of the Huntly-Brinkly report. 15 minutes of just facts. No editorials, no BS.
Post of the day.
They can’t get rid of Sheppard “pie” Smith.
He is their resident token queer. Imagine what happens if they try to fire him! “Hell hath no wrath like a queer scorned!”
Token homo!!!
He appears to be auditioning for CNN,
let them have him.
Shepard Smith should get his own show to follow-up on all the BS he spews at 2am Tues - Thurs.
