If Rice is lying about the unmasking then that certainly would suggest that her actions were illegal.

But to know for sure, we would have to see what the FISA Court approved rules are.

Once you hear the howls of racism from the left, you’ll know the CI’s have struck pay dirt.

Because she had NO valid justification for the unmasking to occur. James Clapper even said there was no evidence of any Russian conspiracy. It was purely so that the information could be more widely disseminated to the various agencies due to Obama’s late changing of the rule for info sharing. Furthermore, one the people that she had copied on the unmasked dcos was Ben Rhodes...of Benghazi talking points fame.

Hold on, its not just her. She is the one unmasking. I think you will find that the reports were sent everywhere.

But that wasn't legal, until the last minute when Obama changed the law and allowed this information to be disseminated out to all of the 16 other agencies that had anything to do with intelligence, and allowed it to be spread among lower level employees for obvious reasons...

What makes it illegal is that the information was spread for obvious political reasons and not national security purposes...

"Why do these people want to become criminals by doing Obama and Clintons dirty work."

There seems to be an awful lot of people who are willing to compromise themselves for power, money, or both. They are the ones who would sell their mothers down the river to get ahead. They have no conscience, and will do whatever it takes to stay on top, whether it's illegal or not. That's the common philosophy of the Democrats. If they can't get what they want with the rules or laws that are in place, then they will change the rules, and ignore the laws to get to the required end.

I firmly believe, like most here on FR, that Obama and his minions went out of their way to surveil Trump and his associates during the campaign, looking for any dirt which would be beneficial to Hillary. After she lost, they simply continued gathering intelligence, in hopes of causing damage, and harm to the new Administration. They proved that when they leaked the info on Flynn. And they tried it with Sessions.

You betcha. Why would someone lie about being involved in something, if that something were perfectly legal for them to do? In addition, they have clear video documentary evidence that Rice denied the unmasking.

This individual got her teet caught in the ringer. We’ll see if she now sings for favor.

It’s not part of FISA rules, it’s part of the FISA law itself.

You can look it up if you choose.

20 who have the authority to approve unmasking requests.

Three who are empowered to make the request...CIA Director, National Security Director and Attorney General.

It was a rhetorical question.☺ Clearly she had no justification to unmask or disseminate the information. Rice was also the one who recently referred to Bannon as a Nazi!.....lol

She caused the names to be unmasked in highly classified intelligence briefs.

So far there is no evidence she RELEASED the names. That would be the leaker.

The leaker is guilty of releasing the unmasked intelligence.

The fact that Rice requested, and NSA complied, is NOT A CRIME, unless it can be proven it was done for illegal purposes.

A complete list would've included Hillary, Cheryl Mills, and Huma. Cheryl Mills had a REALLY bad case of amnesia during her deposition, and WHY ISN'T THIS BEING INVESTIGATED AGAIN BY TEAM TRUMP? Pagliano, Weiner, Podesta too.

Pagliano DEFINITELY should be in prison for his big 'FU' no show to Congress!

Rice denied it on TV because she is a natural liar, and because of the obvious political impact to the Dim narrative.

She’s a party girl first.

And I would imagine this only further impeaches any defense she might attempt to put forward.

“Troubling direction.”

I like it. It’s edgy and has a concern troll feel directed against the Leftist media.

Again, she's already denied any knowledge of it on national television. She's got big league problems here.

Whew! Marie Harf just clarified it all, this type of unmasking happens all the time, nothing unusual.
